As part of this year's Nature Festival, we are excited to present the following event:
Balance the left and right sides of your brain with a morning of art and science hosted by entomologist Dr Richard Glatz and artist Janine Mackintosh on their 600-acre heritage bush property on Kangaroo Island.
Janine and Richard will share their workspaces with you – including Richard’s purpose-built invertebrate specimen pod, housing around 70,000 insect specimens – along with insights into their work, incorporating the natural world.
Following a locally supplied morning tea, we will then enjoy a walk around their bush heritage property at the height of spring, viewing rare native plants.
With limited capacity, this is an exciting opportunity to get up close and personal with a fascinating couple and their invaluable property.
Richard and Janine are generously donating their time, expertise and access to their property.
