2026 Calendar Photo Submissions

Submit your photos for our 2026 nature calendar!

We love seeing the incredible photos our members, volunteers, visitors and supporters capture from across our network of nature reserves. They express the unique beauty and wonder of our native landscapes, flora and fauna.

We had a wonderful response to our 2025 Nature Calendar (see images above and below) and are now creating the 2026 edition. We invite you to submit your own photos taken on our nature reserves for consideration and use in the calendar.

Calendars will be available to purchase online in October 2025 with proceeds supporting the ongoing work of Nature Foundation.

The A4 wall calendar will be printed on 200gsm recycled paper, on a solar-powered print press in Adelaide, South Australia. One image and one month will be visible on each open spread and pages will be spiral bound with a hole for hanging.

The calendar will feature Australian holidays and key dates (all states) along with nature-related dates and events.

Please note:

• Horizontal/landscape format photos are preferred (as this will suit the A4 landscape format of the calendar).
• The submission form allows one photo upload per submission. We encourage you to choose and submit your best photo. For multiple photo submissions, you will need to complete the submission form multiple times.
• Images should be PNG, JPG, or JPEG format, between 2-16MB.
• The images shown on this page are from the 2025 Nature Calendar. Final artwork for the 2026 calendar will be developed following the photo submission and selection process.

Nature Foundation Limited (ABN 24 131 531 874) 2025 Calendar – Conditions of Submission

1. Nature Foundation Limited (ABN 24 131 531 874) of Level 2, Payinthi, 128 Prospect Road, Prospect SA 5082 Australia (Us/Nature Foundation), is seeking contributions from photographers for its 2026 Nature Calendar.
2. By making a submission you (You/Your/the Photographer), offer to us the right to use any photograph which you may submit to us (the Photograph(s)) via the Survey Monkey submission form in accordance with the Terms and Conditions set-out below (Submission).
3. You acknowledge that by making a Submission Nature Foundation is not obliged to accept the Submission, partially or wholly, (meaning we may not use the Photographs).
4. You warrant (promise) to us that you are the author (photographer) of the Photograph and that the Photograph:
   1. does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights;
   2. you have written consent of all person contained in the Photograph;
   3. the Photograph is not derogatory, defamatory or otherwise offensive to any persons or groups; and
   4. the Photograph has not been created, augmented or edited using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.
5. You warrant to us that you are an Australian resident aged 18 years of or older.
6. Submissions are accepted from Monday 25 August 2025 and close 9:00am ACST Monday 8 September 2025.

Terms and Conditions

If we accept Your Submission (or part thereof) for inclusion within the Nature Foundation 2026 Calendar, it will be on the following terms:

1. You agree to these terms and conditions which will be binding between you and Nature Foundation. 
2. In consideration for the use of your Submission on these terms, you’re entitled to receive, at no cost, up to 3 hard copies of the 2026 Calendar, following its publication. We will contact you through the contact details you provided with your Submission to make arrangements for delivery.
3. You grant to Nature Foundation a perpetual, irrevocable, world-wide, royalty free, assignable and sub-licensable licence to make use of your Submission for: 
   1. inclusion within the Nature Foundation 2026 Calendar, for commercial resale and fundraising;
   2. to edit or make adjustments (for instance size, formatting, resolution, image type, colour gradation and cropping) to ensure it fits consistently within the published version of the Nature Foundation 2026 Calendar; 
   3. to edit the description of the Photographs provided in your submission for proofreading and style purposes (‘sub-editing’);
   4. the promotion of the Nature Foundation 2026 Calendar;
   5. any collateral purpose associated with sub-paragraphs a-d above, to give effect to the intention of the licence;
   6. internal record keeping; and
   7. (optional), if you have expressly consented to as part of your Submission, then use by Nature Foundation of the Photographs for future marketing and fundraising activities of the foundation as it may from time to time chose to use your Photograph(s). 
4. To the extent that any of the actions described in subparagraphs 3.1-7 might infringe your moral rights, as defined in the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), you expressly consent to those actions.
5. Nature Foundation will credit you as the photographer of your photographs(s) used for the Nature Foundation 2026 Calendar, by reference to the name included in your Submission. You consent to us publishing your name within the Nature Foundation 2026 Calendar and any collateral promotional materials (including our website and social media).
6. Nature Foundation expressly relies upon the warranties described in paragraph D to publish the Nature Foundation 2026 Calendar and any collateral purpose and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nature Foundation, its officers, employees, agents, sub-licensees and members against any damage, cost, claim, proceeding or liability which may arise by virtue of your breach of those warranties.
7. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations, under these terms and conditions, without Nature Foundation’s prior written consent (which may be withheld in its absolute discretion). Nature Foundation may assign or transfer its rights or obligations, or subcontract its obligations, under these terms and conditions without your consent.
8. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavour to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision and the other provisions of the terms and conditions will remain in full force and effect.
9. These terms and conditions and all matters arising from or in connection with them are governed by the laws of South Australia, and courts of South Australia will have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any such dispute.
